A First for Winter Park

Three Competition-Level Beach Volleyball Courts

Beach volleyball is one of the fastest-growing youth sports due to its popularity at the Summer Olympics. We are proud to have constructed the very first USA Volleyball-sanctioned beach volleyball courts in Winter Park.

Reservations of the court are overseen by the City, similar to the tennis courts, and will be available for residents, competitive teams, and competitions.

In 1992, beach volleyball was introduced at the Summer Olympics. In 1996, beach volleyball finally became an official Olympic sport for both women and men.
