Cady Way: Where Winter Park Swims & Plays
Reviving a Landmark. Inspiring a Legacy.
Rendering of the new Cady Way Park brought to you by Orlando Health
This is a resident-driven project supported by the the Winter Park Blue Dolfins Foundation, the City of Winter Park, Orlando Health, and other community partners.
The Cady Way Pool is one of the most-used recreational facilities in the City of Winter Park.
Daily swim lessons
Public school swim programs for Orange County Schools
Resident lap swimming
Training for swimmers of all abilities ranging from Special Olympics, high school, and even Olympic Trial swimmers
Fire, police, and military rescue swimming training
Summer swim camps and seasonal swim leagues
All of this happens in Cady Way Pool’s six lanes, which leaves little room for expanding our swim lesson program to provide free lessons and swim programs for children and adults who might not otherwise become water safe.
Expanding the aquatic facilities at Cady Way is vital to make a dent in drowning statistics.
We are dedicated to developing and maintaining inclusive, accessible aquatic facilities that welcome and serve our entire community.
The ripples have begun. Together we can create a wave!
The Blue Dolfins Foundation, Inc. has partnered with the City of Winter Park to renovate the Cady Way Complex. We’re adding a new Olympic-sized pool, three competition-level beach volleyball courts, and creating a revitalized historic green space.
With the addition of more pool space, we’ll be able to offer swim lessons to thousands more children — helping to save lives, promote fitness, and build a lifelong love of the water.
We are grateful for the support of Orlando Health, who will provide long-term backing for this effort. But to make the full vision a reality, we still need to raise over $3 million. Your support can help create a safer, healthier, and more active future for our entire community.
